Board Member

Stephen is an attorney working primarily with government and not-for-profit organizations to address vacant, abandoned, and blighted properties, their impact, and long-term solutions for community revitalization. Much of his practice is focused on development in areas hardest hit by historically discriminatory lending and other real estate practices, as well as areas disproportionately impacted by recent housing and real estate crises. He works with his clients to restore equity to impacted communities, promote redevelopment and reuse of vacant and abandoned property, and stabilize neighborhoods. Stephen’s work has involved helping clients and partners secure funding through community lending sources, grants, and government and not-for-profit community investment programs.
