“I have come to believe over and over again that what is most important to me must be spoken, made verbal and shared, even at the risk of having it bruised or misunderstood. That the speaking profits me, beyond any other effect.”

- Audre Lorde

Navigating relationship conflict, shifting family dynamics, life transitions, and the heavy impact of feeling unseen takes an immense toll on your well-being. My approach honors what you’ve survived. In our sessions, I am a warm, active, and conversational partner—not just a quiet listener. I will be right there with you through the heavy moments, offering gentle honesty and fierce validation.

To help you move beyond surface-level coping, we will address the root causes of your challenges by acknowledging the hidden hurts of the past. Together, we will explore the balance of give-and-take in your relationships, heal generational cycles, and empower you to build connections—whether with a partner, your family, or yourself—where you feel genuinely safe, seen, and deeply valued.

Therapy with me isn't just about surviving the hard parts or treating what feels broken; we also hold space for your joy.

With background training in sex therapy, I am also open to exploring the messages you’ve been taught about your body and your desires, and discovering what connection and pleasure mean on your own terms, should that find a place in our work together.

I earned my Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University, followed by a Master of Arts in Critical Ethnic Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Women’s & Gender Studies from DePaul University. I also hold a Graduate Certificate in Sex Therapy from Adler University, where I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Couple and Family Therapy.

I look forward to connecting with you and walking alongside you on this journey.
